Proud to be gay

The headline says it all. The should have already been done to death section 377 IPC is out of the books; wiped from history. And History is rewritten again.

This is a proud day for the Queers, For India, indeed. . At least the HC has taken up matters in its hands ...even though it took them 8 years. The media did something good for a change. The moot can now will be laid to rest.

I remember dis incident. a few months back I was standing at a bus stop with a couple of my friends outside my college. I was in my wont nattering away as usual.

And there were a bunch of "well mannered" guys [by this i mean not the road side Romeo types] sitting around.

A gay was on his way when suddenly this group of guys started screaming "GAY!! GAY!! GAY!!!" "Bloody eunuch" "feminine man" "become a Mann!!!” and more abuses that I could understand. :(

Now it’s my turn to call them cheap, rowdy, callow, hallow lame, stuck up scoundrels.

We were astonished to see the "Adam - teasing”. . Just because he was gay.

And all i did was keep quite towards the entire situation. [I hate that my alter egoistic aggressive drama queen dint react..!! maybe I was to numb..!! ] This guy has d guts to give it back to them . . .he roared back " I am what I am " . . No but not an inch of shame these guys had. He just walked away caring 2 flying hoots about wot happened. Wooohoooo..!!

Beneath it all I knew he was all breaking up. After all he was a 1 man army there..!! It was all seen on his face. .He was being ostracized by this parochial society just because he gay.

Today when I see the law being burnt into ashes. I feel happy for him and his brethren, men and woman alike...!! Now is the time of their life!! Now they get accepted by the society; Now hopefully they wont be ridiculed for their preference whether they r LGBT 's . Hopefully many will come outta the closet like this 1. .. .

Now they can scream loudly...“I Love u..Man...!!! "

Michael Jackson is dead..!! And it cud’nt get bigger than dis for the media..!1 dis was the kind of news they were just expecting... . And add to it d death of Farah Fawcett. . . dis is like a prayer from every leech (the media). It all started whenTMZ.com reported it and d news spread like fire. In fact d fact that internet traffic increased even made it to d news.!

And with vh1.. And channel [V] paying respects to him....It's no turning back from this dead and gone [pun intended] POP star.

Anyways not drifting from the topic... dis is wot i have to say on this constant blabber which is filthy and sickening to say the least.

Flashback to a few years back. do u remember MJ in the news for any good reasons?

In 1993, the allegations of the pop star abusing 13-year-old Jordy Chandler at Neverland were brought forward but i was obviously put under wraps and he was freely acquitted.

He was rumored to undergo plastic surgery couple of times because he was uncomfortable with his skin colour...Obviously he gave some lame excuse that he had some rare skin disease

In 2002 he dangled his third child, Prince Michael II - who he had via a surrogate mother - from a third-floor hotel balcony in Berlin. Was that humane enough of him..?? U knwo the answer...

In 2005, he found himself burning his fingers with the law again with allegations of abusing a boy named Gavin Arvizo. His downfall came when reports of genital blotches - were photographed of his private parts. The scandals effectively destroyed the pop legend even though he was found not guilty on 10 counts of child molestation.

During theses years. . The media and d audience criticized him for these antics. even called him lunatic. . So now wotever happened??

Well. Again all thanks to the media who r glorifying him as a hero when actually he was a Monster from hell.

With his 2001 release called Invincible he was written of by critics who said he shud retire and count to live off wid his millions he made in d past.

So now dis sudden switch of thoughts from the media?

I agree..... i m not going to take away the good music dat he gave tot he world. be it the albumThriller, Bad, Dangerous. How can i forget the black and white..?? Which was a suitable answer 2 the racists.

So while the world cries for Michael Jackson and remembers him for the music . . . I am still going to think of him a perpetrator, a man who was uncomfortable with his skin color, who was attention seeking and who needed to retire from the music scene since 2201.

RIP . . .Michael Jackson. . . at least now U wont create music crappy music it found it turdy sometimes. . .. the grapevine will miss u. . .actually the hungry for news media. . . While I personally will learn that v [the rich and poor...the nice and nasty . . . the good and the bad. the angels and the devils] we all go into dust. Never 2 return back again...

Notes to myself

-> Believe in your gut feeling. Your instincts can never go wrong.

-> Making your point heard is much better than shutting up even if it people term it as fighting.

-> Do not expect anything from anybody but yourself. You alone of have to face the world on your alone. Nobody is standing with a sword next to you to screw whosoever is bugging you.

->Friendships do not last forever . It needs efforts from both sides to make it work. Being busy is not an excuse to not keep in touch.

-> Distance does not make the heart grow fonder.

-> Nobody needs to be a rocket scientist to learn that they are stepping into my space. So hey....Buzz off.

->Sometimes (like I said before) it’s better to mouth your point and sometime it is even better to shut up and let your silence do the talking.

-> Jaggers are going to meet you at every point . Take it as a lesson learnt.

-> Cease prejudices and start listening to people's crap. (Just like you guys r...If u all are still reading. )

-> It is not a social hara-kiri to be anti-social once in a while and shut the door from all boundaries and just stay still.

-> It is a good deed to stab people from the front rather than stabbing them from the back.

-> Given the parochial society, it is no crime to letch at a good looking guy. ;P

-> It is maturity to keep in touch with your ex' s but it is an heinous crime even culpable homicide to keep in touch with an ex who cheated on u . Dint he hurt he you enough that your asking for a rebound ??

->It is absolutely sane to act puerile at 20 and blow bubbles ; paint your face ; buy balloons ; and look at aero planes when they zoom off.

-> It is normal to have 110 enemies/ frenemies and still have that 1 Best friend.

A road less travelled

Nostalgia is when you wish u had a genie's lamp where u could rub easily and you could travel back in space. Nostalgia is when you thank the stars up above for your happy moments. Nostalgia is when u find a tear in Ur eye when u think about the moments that flew by. Nostalgia is when u find self smiling in vain and scorning in contempt.

The same happened to me 2 weeks back; and brought back memories; in snapshots and silhouettes.

My Best Friends [ Dalreen, Naomi and Simone ] and me as usual decided to go out on a walk. Instead of walking around our usual I C , we took the untrodden path [pun unintended] . And started walking towards our school.

This trip down the lane took me to a trip to my past .

3 years back , I used to talk around these places with 2 of my girl friends ; Mellisa and Arlene .

There . . . it was the bus stop where we used to wait for each other to reach classes. And soon after classes , we used to go to our home away from home - MC Donald's. Our local hangout where we would go on nattering for hours together .

As i walked along, I reminisced where Mellisa , Arlene and L@#$%S walked together and still had loads to speak about. The pani - puri wala where v used to have pani-puri every second day. The vada-pav wali who v used 2 appreciate. [ Yea...it was actually a woman !! ] The first rains where we all 4 got wet and splashed water on each other [ we were 16 den...and were officially kiddos . :) ] .

The happiness when we saw Spark ; Mellisa's pet Labrador and how we babied him.

Arlene's building down there where used to be our adda ; v used to sit on bikes and comment on aunties , babies , oldies and watchmen. yes..We Neva felt nobody from our list. ;P

Eventually, Sim, Dalz , Neo and me winded up at "Fizzy" , a soda palour. Nostalgia struck me here to..!! Just as We were sipping on our drinks . . I saw L@#$%S enter with some of her Junior College friends . We are no longer friends..without getting into the details.

When i thought dis was enough nostalgia to last me a lifetime ; i was wrong. It started raining . .!!! It felt so magical , uplifting , emancipating and obviously nostalgic.

And it obviously left me happy for the rest of the night !!!

Thank you Mellisa and Arlene . . for spending some really lovely, happy, funny moments with me. I am tagged to u all my life.

The Rich and the Infamous

The recent Sheetal Mafatlal case has surely opened a can of fat lard like worms. This just goes on to prove that there is a big conspicuous line between  being real  and fake; between the definition f right and wrong; between the good and the bad which cannot be made malleable.

The first being Sheetal herself..  Sheetal passed through the green channel saying that she doesn't have anything worth to be evaded about. 

Yeah right..!!

Jewellery worth 53.87 lakh is nothing to be evaded about. They make all this booty sound so cheap like it is being circulated everyday..!! So much for the penury around and  the recession slump..!!

And Wait..there's more...the incompetent rather competent, malicious, sloppy face-arsed Atulya Mafatlal has the cheek to say that that his poor wife is being "framed". 

Yep..she is being "framed " for all the right reasons...

I honestly don't know wot roles the socialite's are supposed to play but they are nothing but mannequins. They doll up themselves to the nines with studded jewellery, branded designer clothes  and they are labelled as the SWISH SETS.. [ i am re-Christening them as the  SUPERCILIOUS SHITTY  SOCIALITES!!  ] Not just Sheeltal...but the just of the 'socialites' like Shaina NC and Hassena Jethmalani prove they have more  brawn when they gave their diplomatic answers..!! guess they believe in making hay when the sun shines even at all the wrong times . For then , NOT Bragging about their bling Rather riches is more like a fashion faux paus.

Gleaming yourself up,preening Ur face, wearing your best clothes, Showing of Ur cribs obviously doesn't make the mark to be a famous socialite.

If only theses really fake cats could learn to pay their taxes and let India on the 'India Rising ' trip. stats say.. more than 75 of all Indians are probably below the poverty line.

I get this icky feeling that after this ballistic media blitzkrieg this whole issue will blur into evanescecne.

Power will reign over law,

Profanity will rule over justice,

Wrong will win over right.

I hope i am proved wrong around  this time. 

Figments of Boredom

Well...the Archie-veronica-Betty love saga might have died down but my love affair with it still continues..!! so i came up with my  choices of endings..!!! [ Boredom sure gets Ur creative juices flowing at their best..!! ] 

so here i go with my series of "can Be's "

--> Betty and veronica should turn lesbians and chuck Archie away. Archie even ain't that great looking , he is a bamboozled soul and isn't even worthy of being fought for and actually not even worth the drama..!! So the best option would be to ditch him and 2 go on a 'girl-loving' trip ..!! 

-->A la-Indian movie typos ; Archie could realise his love for Betty at the alter and profess his love for Betty right away and leave veronica sulking . This could result in the much wanted happy ending and sealed with a happy kiss..!!

--> Turning closer home to telly-land ..how can we leave a death-plot far behind?? Betty conks Veronica ; and Then turns into a soothing soul for Archie and den gets married to him in the end.

--> Betty just marries Jug head ..!!! Somethings are  better than nothing....and if not the guy den the best friend himself..!!

My pursuit of happiness

Just yesterday when I was spending some time wit my girlfrnds...Simone...my 3 a.m friend asked me about the happiest moment in my life...I  just gave a very blank , caught up look n replied " I have never been happy in my life ... Neva so happy to crown it the euphoric moment of my life !!!" 

Lil did the feeble me know that i would get an answer so soon and that 2 with a ring at my door..!!! 

Yesterday ( 1 June, 2009) was indeed the happiest moment of my life..I Woke up 2 realise that my blog is printed up in Mumbai Mirror..!!!  the best part is I dint know it was going to be published 2..!! the journo ( God bless her..!!! ) scanned through blog spot ( god bless them 2..!! !!! ) randomly handpicked my article and posted it up..!!! So it was obviously like a double whammy for me..!!! I felt more ecstatic than winning a jackpot..!!! Actually mine belong totally another league..it wasn't even expected..!!

What can be more felicitous moment for me than this considering that i want to make a career outta this..!!

I want to thank a few people...heck yea..d melodrama queen comes to the fore when uncalled for..!!

ahem...firstly to Prof. Sudhakar from Wilson's --- If it wasn't for this crazy old man..I wouldnt even be writing this blog..It was he who drived it into my brain that i need 2 keep on writing if i needed to become 1...n Whoever hasn't met the man himself hasn't met a mentor and a father figure and a crazy-old-man all rolled in 1..!!

Keep driving us crazy with Ur talks C.O.M !! We get inspired by woteva u talk..!!
